This is another example of not one specific instance of this happening, but something that is spoken about throughout a whole lot of the show. A running joke in the series is that Barney tapes himself having sex with women, photographing them and creating a scrapbook.

We all know for a fact that these women do not know that they are being photographed, videotaped, and then later being gawked at by Barney and his friends. Consent is such an important thing, in this day and age especially, and for him to not give these girls the opportunity to consent is disgusting.

We have all met sleazy men before, they are on most street corners of New York City, but to meet a man who willingly decides to film unsuspecting women while they are at their most vulnerable is nauseating. To think that Robin would eventually marry a man who had scrapbooks of women in bed is something that is hard to wrap your head around.

Imagine being one of those women for a second and you will understand why this is definitely the worst thing that Barney Stinson has done.
