How I Met Your Mother: Every Wedding Episode Ranked Worst To Best

With an entire season to set this up, the wedding episode to finalise the union between Barney and Robin finally arrives. This episode, or so we thought, finally put the thought of Ted and Robin being together to bed. While this may have been later undone by the finally, it was perfect in the moment.

Two characters who have been proven time and time again to be perfect for each other, who have had their ups and downs more than anyone in the show with perhaps the exception of Robin and Ted, finally join in matrimony and complete Barney’s ark into becoming a good and caring person as well as a loving husband.

While Robin has doubts at the start, Ted finally acknowledges aloud that he and Robin are no longer the people who once loved one another and that the person she had become was suited to Barney as the couple had grown together. Many fans like to believe the show ended there and you can see why, as this was as close to a perfect ending as the show could get.
