It's been over 6 years since the CBS comedy How I Met Your Mother ended on one of the sourest notes to ever grace cable television, but let us not forget that said show gave audiences one of the greatest triangle bromances in sitcom history: Ted, Marshall, and Barney.
The three Y-chromosomed members of the Maclaren's Pub gang were the brotastic trio that television has ever produced and after nine years of slap bets, suiting up, high fives, playing “Have You Met Ted?”, magic tricks, the playbook, and getting lawyer’d, taught us a lot about life, love and even more about bromantic nicknames.
Throughout it's run, our favourite NYC trio had some of the funniest, ridiculous and over the top nicknames for each other, serving the fandom with funniest and coolest BFF goals. Barney did account for most of them considering his habit of nicknaming himself more than any of his friends. But Ted and Marshall weren't that far behind.
