3. Alice Eve Is Completely Wasted As Typhoid Mary

Fans were excited when it was announced that the brilliant Alice Eve had been cast in the role of Mary Walker aka supervillain Typhoid Mary. Though Eve does well enough with that she has, the role gives her shockingly little to do overall.

It doesn't help that Mary is first introduced as a skittish, somewhat irritating character before her true nature is later revealed. Unfortunately, a silly gimmick has also been tacked onto her comic book persona, one which results in a few unintentionally comical and contrived moments in subsequent episodes.

Eve really tries, but Typhoid Mary mostly ends up an unwieldy mix of irksome and goofy, ultimately feeling like a bit of an underdeveloped afterthought all things considered.
