The Gang Goes Jihad comes in the second episode of Season 2, immediately after they fake being wheelchair-bound. With Danny DeVito’s Frank debuting that year, they threw the veteran actor in at the deep end with some of the earliest examples of the show going all out to push boundaries.

After a local businessman moves in next door, the Gang discovers that Paddy’s is well over his property line, and he becomes legal owner of the bar. As goes on to become a staple in It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia, they massively misunderstand the lawyer’s advice and take things to the absolute limit.

Their new neighbour/owner is an Israeli, so naturally they settle on a Jihadist video tape to try and scare him off. Dennis also struggles with differentiating what is and what isn't a racial slur when it comes to talking about Jewish people. And, for once, Charlie is the racially sensitive one and has to explain it.

Charlie’s sensitivity only goes so far though, as his next move is to hurl a flaming bag of poop through the window. Because of a gas leak though, this burns the whole place down.
