It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia: 10 Most Disturbing Episodes

8. The Gang Goes To The Jersey Shore (Season 7, Episode 2)

It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia Dee
FX

When Dennis and Dee catch Frank burning their childhood photos, the siblings begin to feel nostalgic about their vacations to the Jersey Shore. Nostalgia soon proves to be unreliable when the Gang arrive. They find that the beach beauties of the Shore’s heyday have been replaced by stray dogs, and under the boardwalk, the location of Dennis’ first kiss, is forever tainted by two hobos having full-blown sex.

After Dee’s hair is ripped from her scalp by a theme park ride, she and Dennis end up in A&E. They meet a down and out woman whose party invite turns into a liquor store robbery fuelled by angel dust. When one robber takes a bullet, Dennis is forced to drive at gunpoint to a mob doctor. The sketchy doctor fails to save the crook and takes a bullet to the back of the head. Dennis and Dee return to the beach, finding themselves digging holes for dead bodies rather than sandcastle moats.

Meanwhile, Frank contemplates cannibalising Mac, and Charlie runs into the Waitress, who he thinks has fallen for him. However, her feelings are influenced by ecstasy.
