It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia: 10 Most Disturbing Episodes
7. Frank's Pretty Woman (Season 7, Episode 1)
Frank introduces the gang to a prostitute, Roxy, and announces
his intent to marry her. She isn’t around to hear the proclamation. She’s
blowing a bus boy in the back alley. The Gang decide they need to “Pretty Woman”
her.
Dee is initially repulsed by Roxy’s crass manner and regular consumption of booze and crack. However, she is won over when Roxy uses her impressive earnings to humiliate a snobby salesman. Upon learning she could earn $500 per client for foot stuff, Dee soon agrees to become a “foot girl”.
The Gang gather for Frank’s proposal, only for Roxy to collapse, clutching her heart. Her would-be fiancé checks her pulse and deduces “the b*tch is dead”.
Rather than call an ambulance, they decide to “just put her
out in the hall” and call an anonymous tip from a payphone. Frank says a few
words relating to how good a prostitute she was, and how she serviced not only
his “crank” but his heart. The episode concludes with the Gang dragging her
corpse out of the apartment and dumping it in the corridor. All set to the Pretty
Woman theme. Grim.
