It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia: 10 Most Offensive Episodes

7. The Gang Exploits A Miracle

Always Sunny In Philadelphia
FX

Season 2, Episode 7

Best Quote: Charlie (singing): "I got the good Lord is going down on me."

The gang find a water stain in the bar that bares a slight resemblance to the virgin Mary and therefore decide to take it as far as morally possible, as is to be expected.

The episode sees Dee being responsible for the falling of a respected priest, Mac and Charlie taking advantage of religious fanatics and Frank employing an elderly drunkard priest to come and further bless the statue.

Once again, not only is this deeply offensive to the religious, due to the many pilgrimages that have been performed because of the mystical appearances of similar apparitions, but it also suggests that people on a whole can be easily manipulated by a group of complete idiots.
