Best Quote: "Yes, ok, this is great. Because earlier you were implying that I was racist because you thought that I was implying that all black people are related, and then it turns out that you people actually are!"

The first ever episode of It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia completely and perfectly sums up the attitudes of the gang and their target viewers.

The episode opens with Dee explaining to the rest of the gang that she needs them to behave in order for them to be introduced to a new love interest of hers, to which they reply in protest to her lack of faith. That is, until they realise that he is black. The gang then continue the episode attempting to become more racially accepting and end up running the hottest gay bar in Philadelphia.

Even though the episode could be considered more satirical than offensive, it touched on some seriously hot button topics that anyone who may be black, gay or of a more sensitive nature may have found to be a touch too far for the series debut episode. However, The Gang get Racist could have just as easily been an episode in season 10, proving that even ten years on from their beginnings, the group don't give a rat's ass about who they offend.
