It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia: 10 Worst Things The Gang Have Done
3. Tricking Dennis And Dee Into Digging Up Their Mother
Frank is one of the most horrendous offenders in the show, especially when it comes to punishing The Gang for petty reasons. Although Dee's life-ruining act in the first entry was bad, it pales in comparison to Frank's dreadful crime in this episode.
The outing Charlie's Mom Has Cancer commits a terrible act in forcing the loveable Bonnie Kelly to fake a terminal illness. Yet, it is the climax of the episode that truly feels more at home in a horror series, as Frank is mocked by the others, claiming that he is "losing it", and creates an elaborate plan for revenge.
After taking them on a hunt around Philly to find their dead mother - who a physic claims is still alive - he finally comes to her grave and employs Charlie to open it up, claiming that it will be full of money. However, there is no money inside, and the Reynolds children are traumatised upon seeing their mother's decomposed corpse.
Frank then boasts about how he set the whole thing up to get back at them for their comments. The effects are devastating to Dee and Dennis and show how far Frank will go to make a point.
