It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia: Each Main Character Ranked From Worst To Best
8. The Waitress
If you become mixed-up with The Gang, the likelihood is that it’s going to backfire on you in one way or another. One of the many casualties of the group is The Waitress (Mary Elisabeth Ellis, Charlie Day’s wife).
When we first meet The Waitress, whose real name is never revealed, she works at a small coffee shop and is obsessively stalked by Charlie despite having numerous restraining orders filed against him. To make her pre-existing relationship with the group even more complicated she has deep, unrequited affection for Dennis, who (being Dennis) manipulates her emotionally whenever the need suits him.
Regardless of her best efforts to stay clear of Charlie and his cohorts, she often finds herself running into them on a regular basis, with their ploys somehow finding a way to backfire on her. Loosing her job on more than one occasion as a direct result of their actions, The Waitress turns to alcoholism and regularly attempts to get revenge against them for the damage they’ve caused her.
Unfortunately, though, this ultimately results in her spending more time with the very people who’ve caused her life to go downhill and a vicious spiral begins.
