Who are "The Gang"?
"The Gang" are a group of narcissistic companions comprised of Charlie Kelly (Charlie Day), Dennis Reynolds (Glenn Howerton), Frank Reynolds (Danny DeVito), Ronald "Mac" MacDonald (Rob McElhenney) and Deandra "Sweet Dee" Reynolds (Kaitlin Oslon). Together they own and run the not-so-successful Irish bar, Paddy's Pub in the very successful, and longest running, live action comedy series, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
For over fifteen years, we have followed the five 'protagonists' in their escapades of excessive drinking, drug abuse and schemes. For the most part, their adventures and actions are very morally questionable and often result in some sort of physical and/or mental distress. Most commonly on each other. Exploiting their friend's vulnerabilities and weaknesses, which they all have.
"The Gang" are as bad as each other, but that is not to say they are spitting images. Some disputes often derive from Charlie's, Dennis', Frank's, Mac's and Dee's own unique and individualistic traits, which makes them so engaging to watch and, hence, over fourteen seasons worth of viewing pleasure.
