Marvel's Jessica Jones: 13 Big Questions After Binge-Watching Season 1
5. Is Kilgrave Really Dead (And Staying That Way)?
Speaking of topping Kilgrave, there's also the lingering question of whether or not the villain is really dead. Yes, we saw him having his neck snapped by Jessica in the final episode, and as he lay there motionless on the floor, he looked very much like he had been killed. But since this is a TV show, and one based on a comic book at that, there's always the chance he won't stay that way. While Tennant was fantastic, I would rather he stayed dead (and do believe that to be the case) because I feel it would do the story a disservice if he were to return. But that doesn't stop the question being asked. Fans have pointed to the fact his comic book character is able to heal rapidly, even from a supposed deathlike state, so if the producers and David Tennant wanted it to happen, there's a chance he could return from the dead.
NCTJ-qualified journalist. Most definitely not a racing driver. Drink too much tea; eat too much peanut butter; watch too much TV. Sadly only the latter paying off so far.
A mix of wise-old man in a young man's body with a child-like wonder about him and a great otherworldly sensibility.
