Kingdom Come - 10 Things Arrowverse Fans Need To Know Before Crisis On Infinite Earths

One of the most common tropes in the genre, the whole public resentment against super powers angle featured heavily throughout Kingdom Come.

Starting from the initial backlash against heroes for their unwillingness to do whatever it takes to stop the bad guys, all the way to a potential nuclear apocalypse at the end. As the superhumans are locked in a fierce battle, the UN, who for some reason have access to nuclear weapons here, decide the best option is to rid the world of all the warring parties.

Three nuclear warheads are launched at site of the battle. While Batman and Wonder Woman realize the danger and stop two of these, the third requires a heroic sacrifice on the part of someone.

It remains to be seen if the showrunners integrate this complex dynamic into the Crisis storyline somehow.
