Krypton Season 1: Ranking Every Major Character From Worst To Best
2. Lyta-Zod
Lyta-Zod is a character that utterly stole the show countless times throughout season one of Krypton.
In addition to being the daughter of Jayna-Zod, secret lover of Seg-El, and the mother of General Zod, Lyta is an incredibly unique and complex character in her own right.
Whether it's questioning the state of the world around her, her turbulent relationship with her conflicted mother, or how all of this ties into her role as a respected member of the House of Zod and the Sagitari, Lyta's story is beyond fascinating.
She's an active character who is constantly being forced to make tough decisions, which she (and everyone else) sees the impact of in real time. And the fact that there often isn't a concrete right answer to the situations she finds herself in, not all of her snap decisions end up working out.
She wants to do the right thing, despite having no idea what that is thanks to different people pulling her in different directions. This conflict easily makes her one of the best and most relatable characters in Krypton, as well as an absolutely stellar deuteragonist.
The character does somewhat fall by the wayside in the season's last couple of episodes, but this is more than made up for by the Emmy-worthy performance Georgina Campbell gave throughout the season.
