Legion: Ranking Every Main Character From Worst To Best

3. Ptonomy Wallace

Legion Lenny David Syd
FX

Plain and simple, Ptonomy Wallace is a well-written character, who is a joy to have around. If David, Syd, and the Loudermilks are the heart and soul of our team of protagonists, then Ptonomy is the all-important backbone. He may not always be at the forefront, but when he is, it's brilliant; and even when he isn't, he is still very entertaining.

He is cynical and sarcastic in the best possible way, and carries himself with a certain confidence and conviction that some of the other characters lack. He's the type of person that when he speaks, people listen; because they know that he knows full well what he's talking about and what he's doing. As a result, he seems to be the much-needed voice of reason for the group at times.

Moreover, his memory exploration power is not only incredibly unique, but also integral to the plot. Without Ptnonomy, much of the narrative falls apart, as it is through his expert control of his abilities that he is able to help piece together the secrets of David's past.

The only drawback in regards to Ptonomy is that while it's clear he plays a crucial role in the story, we don't really know a whole lot about him as of yet. A backstory was alluded to, but has not yet been explored. Meaning that he is another character who would gain from more development in season two or beyond.
