Legion: Ranking Every Main Character From Worst To Best

There's only one character in Legion who could possibly hope to outshine its main protagonist, and that is its main antagonist.

Lenny Busker is the preferred form of Amahl Farouk, aka the Shadow King, and there's simply no two ways about it: she is absolutely brilliant, and then some.

Lenny is so relentlessly sinister and manipulative that you want to hate her because of how merciless she is, but you can't bring yourself to do it because she's also so charismatic and beyond clever. Not to mention the fact that her rise to villainous prominence was as perfectly methodical as she is. She starts of slow, acting as a heavy-handed devil's advocate of sorts for David.

As time goes on, she slowly wraps him around her finger before finally making her true, sadistic self known. Plus, she's also an incredibly competent villain, as she toys with the rest of the gang's psyches at one point as if they were nothing more than idle playthings, and does it all with a smile on her face.

The absolute best thing about Lenny, however, is her actress. Whereas Dan Stevens' portrayal of David is near-flawless Aubrey Plaza's performance as Lenny is absolutely flawless. She meshes with the character to an uncanny degree, and as a result turns in what is undoubtedly the best performance of the entire show. The only word you can use to describe it is 'wow'.

If Plaza does not receive an award for this performance, it would frankly be an injustice.
