Loki: 10 Insane Fan Theories That Could Come True

Though it wasn't revealed until the mid-credit scene of 2012's The Avengers, Loki was actually working for Thanos the entire time. The Mad Titan gave the God of Mischief an army of Chitauri to conquer Earth, in return for the Tesseract.

During his conquest, Loki was threatened by The Other on behalf of Thanos, claiming that there would be no realm, no barren moon, and no crevice where he could hide should he fail to deliver on his end of the bargain. This poses the question of whether Thanos and his minion took other timelines into account when making this threat.

While Loki was ultimately caught up to by Thanos, Variant Loki has only just betrayed him by stealing the Tesseract instead of delivering it to the alien pulling the strings. Does this mean that Thanos could be hunting Loki down throughout the events of the series? Could the Time Stone and the Reality Stone allow him to cross to different timelines and realities to chase him?

If this is the case, it's unlikely that Thanos would actually get out of his floating space chair. At this point in time, he hadn't yet decided to do it himself, so he would likely send one of his minions after Loki. Could this mean a cameo from the likes of the Black Order, Ronan the Accuser, or even Nebula and Gamora?
