9. What Was Mobius' Life Before The TVA?
After just one episode of Loki, Mobius became a fan favourite. His wit, the dynamic he had with Loki, and the fun he had while essentially poking the bear that was the God of Mischief all scored him big points with the MCU fanbase. By the second episode, he had developed genuine connections with the audience, and just about everyone watching is hoping he gets to ride on a jet ski one day.
He is as devout a believer in the TVA, the Time Keepers, and his purpose as anyone in the organisation, and happily dedicates his life to preserving the Sacred Timeline. However, according to Sylvie, this wasn't always his life, as with all of the TVA agents, he is a Variant himself. So what exactly was his life before the TVA picked him up, and will he ever go back to it?
Is he human, or something from another planet in the universe? He could be absolutely anything, but it might be that he has ridden a jet ski many times in his real life, and has somehow retained the emotion connected to them when his memories were erased.
Alternatively, there have been promotional materials and featurettes showing Owen Wilson in something like a cowboy outfit. Could this be his true identity? There were rumours before the show dropped on Disney+ that he could be playing the Two-Gun Kid rather than Mobius, but could it be both?
