Lost: 20 Easter Eggs, In-Jokes And References You Must See

8. Walt On The Milk Carton

Episode: Everyone Hates Hugo Another clever inclusion that qualifies as one of Lost's many, many "blink and you'll miss it" moments, this particular easter egg sees Walt pictured on the side of a milk carton during a dream sequence - courtesy of Hurley - in the season two episode "Everyone Hates Hugo." The sequence in question saw Hurley in The Swan Station, eating and drinking until his heart was content... and then Jin arrived announcing the fact that "Everything€™s going to change" (speaking in English, weirdly, because it was a dream). Unless you're paying very specific attention to the business occurring in this scene, the sight of a child on the side of a milk carton - a common occurrence in the US - probably wouldn't have spurred your interest. At this point in the show, Walt had been kidnapped by the Others, of course, so the missing reference made perfect sense in its own brilliantly subtle way. Bravo, Lost writers.
