2. James 'Sawyer' Ford - John David Washington
If Jin had a good redemption arc, then Sawyer had a great one. This character started as a thorn in the heroes sides but eventually became one of the most popular characters in the show. His change from being a sly and manipulative conman to a thoughtful and brave hero was a highlight for the series. As such, he needs someone with mountains worth of charisma.
John David Washington hasn't been a star for long - only starting to make a name for himself around 2018 - but he's taken Hollywood by storm. Washington has proved he's a competent leading man in movies like BlaKkKlansmen and Tenet, and that's something he could sink into here.
One crucial factor for Sawyer was his charm. Even at his worst, fans still fell for him, and that's something Washington could achieve. He's effortlessly suave and smooth, which would make his version of Sawyer a great anti-hero.
Of course, he'd have to work on his southern drawl, but he'd surely nail that.
