Lost In Space Review: 5 Ups & 5 Downs

3. The Impressive World-Building

In addition to the extremely impressive visuals, the show does benefit hugely from the robustness of its world-building. The Robinsons' journey has a lived-in quality to it, establishing a universe that will hopefully be explored even further in the second season (assuming it happens).

Though the world presented here may not be populated with particularly great characters, a fun variety of environments and locales are introduced, ensuring the show's aesthetic never begins to feel overly familiar.

Clearly, with some creative improvements in season two, there's so much potential for the series' foundations to give life to something much more entertaining.
