MacGyver Season 3: 6 Ups & 2 Downs From 'Bravo Lead + Loyalty + Friendship'

1. Murdoc's Absence

MacGyver Murdoc
CBS

This isn't really a problem with the episode itself, but more so with the series's decision not to include Murdoc in the second instalment of Season 3. The fact that the dastardly fiend has disappeared yet again will make for great material moving forward, but - let's face it - David Dastmalchian's calculated killer is the best antagonist MacGyver (and TV, really) has to offer, so it's unfortunate that the character is off on his travels yet again.

After killing Jill, Mac has the extra ammunition he needs to take Murdoc down once and for all (well, maybe not once and for all... once more would be a more appropriate phrase considering the character's penchant for escaping prisons), and it's also given him a reason to stay (which, again, is brilliant writing), but the absence of the villain from Bravo Lead + Loyalty + Friendship is disappointing.
