29. Colleen's Jacket

Throughout the early episodes of the show, Colleen wear a red silken jacket with two roaring tigers, which definitely feels like a specific reference to another team of Marvel martial arts experts - the Sons Of The Tiger.

Their cancelled run began in 1974 when three characters - Lin Sun, Bob Diamond and Abe Brown who form together as the Sons Of The Tiger to fight crime in San Francisco. They also teamed up with Iron Fist and counted Heroes For Hire member White Tiger as an ally at one point.

It is their amulets of power that original White Tiger Hector Ayala found and used to become the hero. It might be a complex reference, but it's certainly what the logos inspire, particularly as the claw amulets that the Sons Of The Tiger used are hanging in the dojo - and Claire uses them.
