Marvel's Jessica Jones Season 2: 10 Best Moments

1. Jeri Destroys Her Partners (Episode 13, "AKA Playland")

Poor, poor Carrie-Anne Moss. She got saddled with a bunch of stinker subplots for her Jeri Hogarth this season, making the rather soap opera-esque divorce storyline from the previous season seem positively riveting by comparison.

Jeri spends most of season two coming to terms with her ALS diagnosis and trying to find a way to overcome it with laughable results, but at least the season finale seems to suggest she's found a way to keep things under control (for now, anyway) with a regimen of medication.

She gets one single, brilliant moment in the finale, when she's summoned to meet with her partners Chao and Benowitz, who are keen to oust her from their partnership with a severance package. With the help of Malcolm, who she employs as a corporate spy, she gets video evidence of Chao admitting to laundering drug money.

She then demands they double the proposed severance package, and announces she's going to take her clients with her (including the Rand Corporation), accounting for 62% of the partnership's currently billable hours. Ouch.

It was the stone-cold boss b**** move from Jeri that fans had been waiting for all season, and it totally delivered. And to add some icing on the cake, Jeri then hired Malcolm and Pryce Cheng (Terry Chen) as associates in her new law firm.

Fingers crossed season three has Jeri firing on all cylinders again, and this misguided illness nonsense can be quietly forgotten about, implausibility be-damned.
