2. Hellcat

In her final shot, Trish appears to be back to full health despite coming extremely close to dying on Dr Malus' table, and when she drops her phone it seems that she may have superpowers after all thanks to her lightning quick reflexes.

She's definitely on the path to being Hellcat, as she was in the comics, and there are several other nods to that. First, there's the nurse telling her she's used up two of her nine lives - which is not only a reference to cats but also to the fact that this is the second time she's "died" after doing so in the comics. And as in that story, she gains her powers by "dying".

And then there's the virus that gives her her powers. Though Dr Malus doesn't mention the specifics of it, it's later revealed to Malcolm and Jesica that it's FVRP - "a feline distemper vaccine.” No wonder she's going to be drawn to being a cat...!
