36. The Original Outfit
After Luke has developed his powers accidentally, he punches his way out of the prison, still wearing the metal shackles that were part of his experiment.
Once free he also acquires a yellow baggy shirt to team with the metal cuffs and helmet - stops and looks in a car window and criticises his own look. He has unwittingly recreated his classic comic book look, though he says he looks like a "damn fool."
Later, Claire playfully jabs at him: "Was it mustard yellow? Canary yellow?" His response is telling: "Couldn't go around Georgia looking like a run-away slave." That's exactly what he did, and that's exactly what his original look was supposed to channel (hence the chains round his waist).
