Marvel's Luke Cage: Ranking Every Major Character From Worst To Best

4. Diamondback

Finest Moment: His final form.

Diamondback makes Cottonmouth look like a pussy cat. Because he has more personal investment in pulling Luke Cage and Harlem down - for what they did to him - and less of a grip on reality, he's even more dangerous.

He's not so much invested in power plays as he is in controlling people and making them fear him. Look at the way he strangles Zip almost to death and proclaims it a prank... He's a kid with a magnifying glass burning ants for his own pleasure, a true agent of chaos who grows into a desire to control Harlem.

His back-story is great too, adding much more complexity to that dynamic with Luke Cage, and while he's not entirely sympathetic, it does make you consider the steps that led to his detachment. And Erik LaRey Harvey is absolutely terrifying in the role (even in his silly outfit at the end).
