Marvel's Luke Cage Season 2: Ranking Every Major Character From Worst To Best

Danny Rand - is that really you?

It's no secret that the majority of Marvel fans didn't take to Iron Fist, finding the character to be whiny and childish. Clearly, the makers of Luke Cage got the memo as his guest spot in season 2 does a lot to redeem the character and make him a lot more fun to watch.

The Danny we meet in episode 11 is much more assured, mature and just all-round cooler than we've seen him before. This is explained away as Danny finding an inner stillness thanks to realigning his chi - um, OK - but, whatever the reason, let's hope it lasts into Iron Fist season 2.

Unlike in The Defenders, when the pair fought a lot, you can also see how Luke and Danny, despite being two very different people, would become close friends, as they do in the comics. Mike Colter and Finn Jones have great chemistry here so it's a real shame it doesn't look like we're going to get a proper Heroes for Hire arc any time soon.
