Marvel's The Defenders: 8 Things That Must Happen

While the beginnings of the Heroes For Hire and the reconciliation of Jess and Luke would be great, the duo we are most looking forward to seeing interact in The Defenders is Matt Murdock and Jessica Jones.

As the first two heroes out the door, Daredevil and Jessica are basically the king and queen of the Defendersverse - this is kind of like the TV equivalent of the first meeting between Iron Man and Captain America. Besides that, the two have such starkly different personalities that it should be great to see them lock horns (literally, in Daredevil's case).

Jessica is someone who finds the whole superhero game ridiculous, so she is bound to constantly mock Murdock over the Halloween costume he goes around in. Plus, it should be fun to see Jessica having to begrudgingly let him help her out when he becomes her lawyer (as seen in the trailer).

Thankfully, early reviews for the series confirm the banter between the characters will be one of the highlights and arguably the main reason to watch the show. Likewise, Krysten Ritter is said to be at the top of her game. So expect J.J. to take every opportunity to bring her fellow heroes down a peg.
