10. Ben Urich

Appeared On: Daredevil Throughout the course of the show's first season, Urich evolved from a mere supporting player into one of its most sympathetic figures. From his constant personal struggles in an ever-evolving media world to his workplace hurdles to trying to take care of his wife, the journalist was wholly relatable, which made it easy to root for him and even easier to worry for him as he got pulled into Karen's desperate personal game of trying to expose Fisk. That he didn't make it out the other end of the season alive is a tragedy, though his loss helped wash away any sympathy viewers may have been having for Fisk heading into the final lap. Vondie Curtis-Hall brought a lot of strength, nuance, and more in giving Urich life, and it's a shame we won't be able to see him continue on in the MCU, whether he would've been in further Netflix series or even involved in Spider-Man's life, but the character will always remain as one of the first season's strongest assets.
