7. Trish Walker

Appears On: Jessica Jones Easily one of the best character dynamics of the show's first season proved to be the bond between Jessica and Trish, with their sisterhood carrying some true emotional weight that paid off during the final conflict with Kilgrave. Rather than exist as the best friend constantly trying to deter our hero from the dangers of the world, Trish was refreshingly proactive in flashbacks and in the present. From trying to help Jessica embrace her powers and become a hero - even if it meant taking on a name like Jewel - to supporting her in coping with and ultimately bringing down Kilgrave to even risking her own life to stop Will from hurting Jessica, Trish served as Jessica's rock more than anyone else. Even outside of her ties to Jessica, Trish was a strong, capable character all her own, and one who it's hard not to hope can continue growing into her own to take on the mantle of Hellcat like her comic counterpart. Regardless of whether or not she does suit up anytime soon and, perhaps, even stand alongside Jessica when the Defenders form up, the fundamental heart of the Jessica/Trish friendship will hopefully remain key whatever happens going forward.
