Marvel Cinematic Universe: 10 Best Netflix Characters
6. Luke Cage
Appears On: Jessica Jones When it comes to supporting characters, there's arguably more leeway in interpreting them than there is with the big draws. In comparison to faces like Urich, Wesley, and even Trish, fans will undoubtedly be more set in stone about how they feel characters like Daredevil and Jessica Jones should be presented, especially when they're being asked to invest themselves first and foremost in these main characters for years to come. Being one of those heavy hitters, lots of expectations were set for Luke Cage's first live-action appearance, and, thankfully, they were met. Make no mistake, the series was firmly Jessica's show, but Mike Colter rocked it with what he was given, both in establishing him as a character important to Jessica and as a character worth following off on his own. Cage was established as a guy with a heavy past, but one whose humility and quiet strength spoke more about him than his actual strength. There are still quite a few months to go until we get to see him in his own series, but his time on Jessica Jones makes it hard not to wish it would get here faster.
