Marvel Cinematic Universe: Every Upcoming TV Show Ranked By Anticipation

3. Iron Fist

Premieres: 2017 Of the four Defenders that were originally announced to have shows all their own in the Netflix/Marvel partnership, Danny "Iron Fist" Rand is the only one who we know least about. Daredevil and Jessica Jones have both aired their first seasons - and scored a second - and Luke Cage made his first appearance in the latter's show before moving on to his own later this year, but the crime-fighting martial artist hasn't even been publicly cast yet. Despite that, a lot of groundwork has already been laid down for him to show up. Marvel and Netflix aren't holding back on setting him up - despite all the rumors over the last year insisting that they've been struggling - with Daredevil's first season going a long way in teasing out the character and his world through things like the mysterious Madame Gao or the hints at the existence of long-time Iron Fist villain Steel Serpent. Loaded with martial arts and mysticism, Iron Fist will undeniably be the biggest of the solo Netflix outings in terms of scope and action, especially if it takes viewers along with Danny to K€™un-L€™un or brings to life his crucial battle with the dragon Shou-Lao. His series will likely be the final stop before the Defenders all come together, but his story's potential and what it could mean for the Netflix corner of the MCU makes him the most exciting major addition coming down the pipeline.
