Not long now! It's only 6 days until the U.S. Premiere and 9 days until the U.K. Premiere (on Channel 4, fellow Brits!). Exciting times! Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D (which stands for Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division) will bring the immensely popular Marvel Cinematic Universe to the small screen - sharing a continuity with movies such as the Iron Man trilogy, the Thor movies and The Avengers - and will mostly follow the adventures of S.H.I.E.L.D agent Phil Coulson - a popular supporting character from the aforementioned movies who is played by the brilliant Clark Gregg. Cobie Smulders will also reprise her role as Maria Hill. Joss Whedon will be overseeing the series as creator and executive producer alongside his brother Jed and his sister-in-law Maurissa Tancharoen.
