Marvel's Daredevil: 10 Iconic Moments That Must Happen

8. Melvin Potter's Return To Crime

Melvin Potter's got quite the checkered past in the comics.

Formerly a super villain by the name of the Gladiator, Melvin clashed with Daredevil for years before eventually giving up his life of crime and seeking treatment for his ongoing psychological problems.

Despite often struggling with his violent nature, Melvin nonetheless kept his nose clean until a man named Alexander Bont, the first Kingpin of Hell's Kitchen, coerced Potter into helping him reclaim his throne in the Bendis-penned 'Golden Age' arc.

Considering that the show has already dropped a few hints at Melvin Potter's alter ego, it wouldn't be much of a stretch for the murderous Gladiator persona to make an appearance.

Chances are, Wilson Fisk will eventually put two and two together and figure out who supplied Daredevil's snazzy new duds, and with Melvin's mention of a 'Betsy' (his therapist in the comics) an adaptation of 'Golden Age' is a strong possibility. It wouldn't take much more than simply swapping out Alexander Bont for Wilson Fisk to make it a seamless transition.
