7. Daredevil Vs. The Hand
Created by Frank Miller, The Hand is a centuries-old order of assassins and dark-arts practitioners who have throughout their history come into conflict with a rival organization called 'The Chaste', headed up by Daredevil's mentor Stick.
The feud between the two organizations came to a head in Daredevil #189, when Stick (with the aid of Daredevil and Black Widow) defeats the clan, sacrificing his life in the process to guarantee Matt's safety.
Nobu, complete with flowing red robes and all, offered the first glimpse of the clan. Apparently the head of the organization, he was killed at the conclusion of the ninth episode, but considering that The Hand is a vast organization with fingers in many pies, it's safe to say we haven't seen the last of them.
An adaption of the original storyline would expand the ninja mythology going forward, while simultaneously capping off the relationship between Matt and Stick.
