Marvel's Daredevil: 18 Problems With Season 2
17. 'Oh, This? Eh, It's Just A Scratch. A Massive, Deep, Horrendous Scratch That Will Most Likely Claim My Life'
There was once a thug, name of Grotto
Irish mob, messed with Frank and got shotto
His response to this hit
Was to say, ‘Eh, f**k it’
And just to go to a bar and get blotto
Grotto was the sole survivor of The Punisher’s onslaught on the Irish mafia, barely escaping with nary a scratch on his side… except for the giant, obvious shard of shrapnel that he had protruding from his side. Going to the bar to find Foggy and Matt to represent him, Matt senses Grotto’s elevated heartbeat and warns him from stirring any trouble.
After revealing that he’s actually there to find Nelson and Murdock (how he managed to do that in such a short amount of time is also unrealistic), they have a perfectly normal conversation until Grotto passes out because of the previously mentioned giant shard of shrapnel.
Either Grotto is tougher than Brock Lesnar’s punching bag or his tendency to forget the burden of mortal wounds is a serious affliction that needs immediate attention.
