The priest who Matt Murdock confesses to in the first episode is Father Lantom according to all official cast lists, and he's another who should be familiar to Marvel comics fans.
He has appeared in The Runaways comics - having given refuge to the titular group - and has additional connections to Cloak and Dagger. Though he's not a major presence, it shows the show-maker's willingness to go closely into the source material to flesh out even the most fleeting details.
