Marvel's Daredevil Season 2: 10 Ups And 2 Downs

7. Charlie Cox's Performance

Charlie Cox had built up a solid CV ahead of Daredevil's first season, but to a wider audience he was still largely unknown. However, he quickly established himself as the character, immediately erasing both doubts and lingering memories of Ben Affleck's portrayal.

He gave a solid performance, if one that was overshadowed by D'Onofrio's Fisk, but he's even better this time around. He's definitely more comfortable in the two roles, both as Murdock and Daredevil, and the story this year gives him much more chance to showcase a range of emotions, and bring more depth to the character, whether it's in the breakdowns of his relationships, or just the little tics and movements he adds to Matt as he's moving around and picking up sounds.

Again, someone else may be stealing the show, but it's Cox's performance that holds all the others together.
