Marvel's Daredevil Season 3: Ranking Every Character From Worst To Best
2. Matt Murdock
One of season 3's strokes of genius is following Born Again and putting Matt Murdock back in his Man in Black suit instead of his Daredevil costume. Strangely, the character's best point up to now was his season 1 story arc, before he was properly ol' Hornhead. For one, fans have always been divided by the appearance of the suit but that period also saw Matt at his rawest and most interesting.
And that Matt is back with a vengeance in season 3. What's surprising is just how much of a jerk he's portrayed as - treating his friends like dirt and turning against every type of faith he had (religion, the law, other people ETC). However, he has a pleasing redemptive arc across the 13 episodes so we end up with a brighter, more balanced Matt by the end of it.
Once again, Charlie Cox proves he is the perfect Daredevil and every bit as definitive a portrayal of his character as, say, Chris Evans as Cap. Even so, someone else still robs him of the top spot...
