Marvel's Daredevil Season 3: Ranking Every Character From Worst To Best
1. Wilson Fisk
Season 3 might as well change the name of the show to Kingpin as it 100% belongs to Vincent D'Onofrio as Wilson Fisk. He was already more like an anti-hero in season 1 but we spend so much time with him across this run that he's virtually a co-protagonist.
The best thing for fans is that season 3 finally delivers the Fisk from the comics - suited in white, more powerful than ever and finally going by the codename Kingpin. It's chilling to witness as the truth of how far up the system his reach goes is revealed and his neverending cruelty and malevolence makes it easy to side with Matt Murdock when he believes that Fisk needs to die.
That said, D'onofrio still manages to do the impossible and imbue this monster with some humanity, mostly through his genuine love for Vanessa and rare moments of mercy (e.g. letting the Holocaust survivor live). Portraying a character as both utterly detestable but still multi-layered is tricky but the writers and the actors manage it this season.
Sorry, Thanos, but Kingpin is still the finest villain in this franchise.
