Marvel's Daredevil Season 3: What Does The Ending Really Mean?
7. Avocados At Law And Matt & Karen's Relationship
After spending a lot of the season apart - with Matt intent on pushing his friends away for their own safety - the trio of Matt, Foggy, and Karen do eventually reunite properly, working together to take down Fisk, and then getting a happy ending when it's all said and done.
As Foggy writes on the napkin, there's a new firm now: Nelson, Murdock & Page (or Page, Nelson & Murdock), with Karen serving as the investigator to Matt and Foggy's lawyers. It's a great point for the series to get to, because it means they can work much closer together in the future and really get back to their friendship, which should be a core part of the series.
On top of that, it also lays the groundwork for the rekindling of Matt and Karen's relationship. It's understandably not touched upon much here, since there are bigger things going on, but they obviously care deeply for one another and, with demons behind them, can start to move forwards as a couple.
