Marvel's Iron Fist Season 2: What Does The Ending Really Mean?
1. A Darker Daredevil
Finally, as has become usual, the Iron Fist season 2 finale ends with an MCU-style post-credits scene that offers a sneak peak at the next Marvel-Netflix show coming our way - the much-anticipated third season of Daredevil.
Going by this clip, things will be darker than ever in the life of Matt Murdock. In what looks to be Father Lantom's confessional, Daredevil - in his classic "Devil of Hell's Kitchen" costume from season 1 - admits that his worldview has been changed by recent events and he now believes you have to fight fire with fire. He final confession is that he'd prefer to die as the Devil than live as Matt Murdock.
This teases some hugely dramatic stuff to come in season 3. Seeing as it features the vigilante in such a different place from where we last saw him in The Defenders, it's hard to work out what has happened to lead him to this dark night of the soul. Where's his Daredevil suit? Is the Kingpin to do with it? Or maybe Bullseye?
