Marvel's Iron Fist Season 2: What Does The Ending Really Mean?
2. Danny Has His Powers Back
When things go south between Ward and the black market dealer, Danny appears to settle things.... And in the process reveals that he's somehow got the power of the Iron Fist back. Not only that, he can now channel his chi into both of his fists. And that's still not all - he uses the power to turn his dual pistols into super-weapons, totally obliterating the rounds fired at him with special chi bullets.
This is the real WTF moment of the season 2 finale, the reveal that turns the whole episode on its head. We've just seen Colleen become the bearer of the Iron Fist mantle, with evidence suggesting it has always belonged to her. So how the heck does Danny have the power now? And how does he seem to be able to control it even better this time?
The answer could lie with this Orson Randall. The chi-guns is actually Orson's most identifiable trait from the comics. It can't be a coincidence that Danny has suddenly learned this trick in the same scene Orson is mentioned for the first time on the show.
