Marvel's The Offenders: 10 Things You Need To Know
5. Marvel's Tigra & Dazzler Show: What It's About
Tigra and Dazzler have never actually worked together in the comics, but their chemistry seems to fit together perfectly. Both superheroes are mutants, Tigra by choice while Dazzler born into it.
Marvel’s states that Tigra and Dazzler Show’s about, “Two woke Super Heroes and best friends, Tigra and Dazzler, fight for recognition among powered people who make up the eight million stories in Los Angeles.”
Tigra was a superhero who was fatally wounded and helped by The Cat People, but was turned into a human/feline hybrid in return. She keeps up the fight and works as a model on the side often sporting a bikini when on and off work. She was created by Roy Thomas, Linda Fite, Marie Severin, Tony Isabella, and Gil Kane in 1972 with The Cat.
Dazzler is a mutant whose abilities allow her to turn sound into light, making for some spectacular shows. The young woman is a singer by day and a superhero by night, reluctantly, though, as she hates when heroism interferes with her career. Dazzler was created by Tom DeFalco, Roger Stern, Louise Jones Simonson, and John Romita Jr. in 1980 with Uncanny X-Men.
