Writers Josh Gordon and Will Speck will scribe the show with Gordon, Speck, and Loeb executive producing.
The writer/director duo have stayed together throughout their career. They’ve directed Blades of Glory, The Switch, and Office Christmas Party. The more peculiar bit of info on them being brought in as writers is that they only have one writing credit to their name: a 1997 short titled Culture.
Animated shows/films have directors just as live action ones do, so it’s not unlikely that the pair will also serve as directors once the show ends pre-production. A reason to stay enthusiastic; that ’97 short earned Speck and Gordon each an Oscar nomination for Best Short Film, Live Action.
