MCU: 10 Comic Stories We Want To See In Marvel's What If...?

A lesser change than some of the others here, but given how crucial the Avengers are to the MCU, it would certainly be interesting to see how things would have been if they’d stuck more religiously to the comics.

Endgame was one big tribute to the original MCU Avengers and became the biggest grossing movie of all time, so obviously the direction they went in worked. Still, seeing the events play out with the comic book team would be compelling too.

The six Avengers present in Joss Whedon’s Avengers don’t represent the actual first team in the comics. While Iron Man, Thor and Hulk were still there, Captain America, Black Widow and Hawkeye didn’t join until later. Likewise, Ant-Man and The Wasp should have been there.

Though it doesn’t seem it, there’s a range of changes which would have occurred with the comic book accurate team. How would it have changed the bomb heading for Manhattan? What would have happened with Ultron? Would he even exist? Would the Sokovia Accords ever come into the equation?

Then there’s Sokovia itself... with the Avengers on a different path, would Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver have remained more villainous? A lot of What Ifs here.
