5. Agent Orange/Ray Schoonover - The Punisher/Daredevil
Daredevil season 2 and The Punisher are, for the most part, two of the stronger seasons in the Marvel-Netflixverse. However, they both drop the ball in giving Jon Bernthal's Frank Castle a worthy nemesis. In fact, both characters positioned at number one on Frank's hit list are pretty interchangable.
Both Colonel Ray Schoonover and Bill Rawlins AKA Agent Orange are superior officers of Frank's who turn out to be corrupt and the real reason why Castle's family were killed. Even though the former was killed off on Daredevil, someone decided this plot needed to be reheated so the identical Rawlins was introduced in the character's solo series.
Both Clancy Brown and Paul Schulze are fine actors but they can only do so much with what they are given. Amongst the convoluted narrative of the Kandahar drug/assassination ring backstory, any hope of fleshing the characters out is lost. At least in The Punisher's case, we had Ben Barnes' Billy Russo to bolster the villain side of things.
