MCU: Every Guardians Of The Multiverse Member Ranked From Worst To Best
7. Thor
Since his MCU debut way back in 2011, Thor has cemented himself as one of the greatest, and certainly most powerful heroes in the entire franchise. However, the universe without Loki to bounce off left the Asgardian Prince wanting for a lot of the qualities his Variants had.
He was spoilt, spaced out, didn’t seem to really take the Guardians’ mission seriously, and was a genuine liability. He was good at attracting unwanted attention, and that’s exactly what he did at exactly the wrong time. Instead of the team having the time to prepare, Thor decided to let of a thunderbolt that alerted Ultron to their presence.
He didn’t understand the plan they came up with, completely ignored it even when it came to it, and stupidly and arrogantly thought he could defeat Ultron on his own. Ultimately, Thor added very little to the team, and was basically useless.
Surely, there was another universe out there that housed a Thor better suited to join the Guardians of the Multiverse. Why not the MCU’s Thor, for example? The only reason the son of Odin is not last on this list is because he wasn’t an outright villain.
